ICT construction and maintenance involve the physical and technical work required to build and maintain the infrastructure that supports information and communication technologies. This encompasses everything from laying fiber optic cables and building data centers to troubleshooting network issues and updating software systems. Following jobs related to ICT construction & maintenance (but not limited to): Infrastructure Deployment: Laying fiber optic cables, installing network towers, and setting up wireless access points. Building data centers, server rooms, and other specialized facilities. Installing and configuring hardware, such as servers, routers, and switches. Network Installation: Designing and implementing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network topologies. Setting up telecommunications systems, including phone lines and VoIP networks. Physical Security: Installing security systems, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems, to protect ICT infrastructure. Maintenance Activities: Including network monitoring & troubleshooting, system maintenance & updates, data backup & recovery, cybersecurity & user support.
