OCTG Inspection

Drill-pipe inspections are necessary for safe drilling that is cost-effective and minimizes ecological problems. Inspectors will be able to give a baseline of the level to which a project is functioning and help catch little problems that may end up being catastrophic. ACM will do inspection to OCTG pipes and OCTG thread protectors for cracks, galls, pulls, corrosion, abrasions and over-torque using the API Standards. These include (but not limited to): Visual Inspection (VT) - Cat 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - Yes, Dimensional Measurement (DM) - Cat 2, 3, 4, 5 - Yes, Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT) - Cat 3, 4, 5 - Yes, Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI) - Cat 3, 4, 5 - NA, Magnetic Inspection (MT) / UV Florescent - Cat 4, 5 - Yes, Ultrasonic Inspection (UT) - Cat 5 - Yes.
